The Loot I Would Drop

Do you ever find yourself sitting, staring at a wall, lost in thought?? Pretend with me that you’ve wandered through the halls of your mind. You’ve opened door after door and are no longer sure where you started or where you’ve ended up. You peer through a final opening in the halls of the castle of your mind and–what is this–what could it be–is it really–?!?

It is. It really and truly is. It’s a room dedicated to the loot you would drop if you were a character in a video game and were unfortunately brought to an untimely demise. As you delightedly peruse the selections your subconsciousness has gathered for your viewing pleasure, you decide to share with your deserving bloggerly comrades.

A Pair of Floral Wanna-Be Converse

Aren’t they cute?? I actually have this exact pair of shoes and I’m so excited to wear them somewhere and act all cute and stylish XD

Anywhere From One to Seven Beaded Bracelets

Aren’t they lovely. Aren’t they gorgeous. Aren’t you so jealous of my mysterious and cryptic word-bracelets. I’m currently wearing the Josiah Queen one, the Be Brave one, and the Hawkes one (HAWKES DARLING). Oh and the teal/black one that *gasp* doesn’t have a word on it for reasons.

A Pair of Glasses

Why on earth do we call them a pair of glasses, when they are clearly only one thing. One item. Connected, you could say, and thus a single entity.

Anyway. Glasses, ladies and gents. We’d be blind without them *weeps* *tries to wipe tears away* *can’t because there’s something in the way* *oh yeah it’s my glasses* *weeps again*

A Pair of Headphones

Again with the pair thing.

At any rate, I love music and hate earbuds. They irritate my ears. I’m so retro-looking with my headphones *nod nod*

A Well-Worn Journal

The day I go somewhere with the vague opportunity to write in my journal and don’t bring the journal is the day I have gone completely bonkers. I love my journal with an undying love and do my best to keep him (*gasp* yes my journal is a guy this time around. It’s wild. We’re having the time of our lives XD) updated, but I fail miserably most of the time. He’s very understanding though.

Do me a favor and find my respawn location without reading said journal.

A Notebook Full of Half-Written Poems

Because poem fragments don’t belong in the journal until they’re completely written out and ✨perfect✨ Besides that; to-do lists need a home too.

A Pouch of Pens

LET’S HEAR IT FOR PAPERMATE FLAIR PENS!!!! *blows trumpet and tosses confetti* Seriously, I love these things. So many colours. Such a satisfying shape and aesthetic. I had some that smelled good once; that was a good time.

Approximately Six Books

Yes, I realize there will be literally no opportunity to read on this excursion. Yes, I’m still bringing at least two books (in case I finish the first one and am left trapped in the real world until I can dive back into my beloved fiction).

A Couple Gum Wrappers

Preferably in the shape of a heart.

I was obsessed with how my friend could fold candy wrappers into hearts and had to go youtube it for myself. After some rudimentary folding errors and mishaps, I too have mastered the art of the heart fold.

My Key to the Library

I can never keep track of this thing. I never need it more than twice a week and never leave it in the same place twice. I’ve finally attached a keychain thingamajigger to it so it’s bigger and less easy to lose…fingers crossed that it works out for me.

Please note that whoever picks this up when I drop it will inherit the responsibilities that go along with possessing a key to a library. Hope you’re prepared for that.

My Phone

Unfortunately, I’m a bit attached to this thing. It has such handy things!! But we also hate technology and wish we could forget it exists because what do you mean, I’ve been on my laptop for two hours working on blog posts?!? What a waste of time the internet is.
