Hey hey!
Here’s some unrelated facts about me:
First off, Ava is the name I go by on this blog. I chose it because a) it’s a cool name, b) I recently read and loved the Color Theory trilogy whose main character is named Ava, and c) why not. 😉
I have four siblings we’ll call Lucas, James, Lauren, and Elise. I love them all and am so glad they’re in my life!
I love music! I enjoy listening to for King and Country, Leanna Crawford, Josiah Queen, Forrest Frank, TobyMac, and Jordan Feliz, among others. I also play the piano and sing for our youth group worship team on occasion.
I love love LOVE to read. I probably spend way too much time reading, but hey. There are far worse things I could be doing, right? My favorite genre is fantasy, and I could give you a list of recommendations a mile long. And I probably will. Brace yourselves.
I have a growing collection of houseplants and they’re all so cute. I’m no plant expert (I have managed to kill multiple succulents *facepalm*) but I’m learning! I currently have several spider plants, aloe, a swiss cheese plant, a few jades, and more that I don’t know the technical names for. A few of them have names (mostly from books I’ve read), including Eli, Claire, Chess, and Londyn.
Speaking of which, I’m obsessed with all things British/London and I will get there someday somehow. I may from time to time spell “color” as “colour”, but with no consistency whatsoever. I have a horrid British accent and three miniature versions of Big Ben on my dresser. 😉
I do a lot of informal writing. I journal every day, whether it’s a full page or only one sentence in all lowercase with minimal punctuation. I also write letters to my ten-ish pen pals (when they can find the time to reply to my letters; we teens are busy people!) and enjoy making my letters pretty with my too-large collection of washi tape and stickers.
