Hey hey, welcome back to the blog in which Ava apparently is only capable of talking about books!!
RIGHT after finishing up my last post on anticipated books, I discovered the ONE book I didn’t put on the list (and only bc it didn’t have a cover, title, or release date) now has a title. What timing.
And then I realized that I forgot a book.
And then I proceeded to hop over to Enclave Publishing’s homepage and click on the “Coming Soon” button and ended up finding more books that I didn’t know were going to exist.
Long story short, here we are again, at part two of a post that was never meant to be a series!!
The Restitching of Camille DuLaine — Lindsay A. Franklin

The Restitching of Camille DuLaine
Lindsay A. Franklin
Expected publication: February 2026
Restitching is the sequel to The Unraveling of Emlyn DuLaine. Clearly it doesn’t have an official cover yet, but I thought that image fit the vibes lol. There should be a cover reveal in August, I do believe.
I really really loved Unraveling. It’s about a girl whose fictional world turns out to be much less fictional than she thought….and it needs her help. It has a lot of nods to other tales, notably The Wizard of Oz. Being the nerdy reader that I am, I was very happy that one of my favorite authors, Sara Ella, got to help with the book since I know she adores all things Oz.
I’m sure it’ll be just as beautiful (inside and out) as Unraveling and I can’t wait!!

Look how pretty those are…tho I’ve never fully appreciated The Story Peddler…sorry guys…
Augmented — Candace Kade

Expected publication: September 16
Lee Urban must win to survive.
After being sentenced to the banned list, half of the Asian Federation believes Lee Urban is a ticking time bomb that could end the world as they know it. They’re willing to do anything to erase her existence and silence her voice before she can take a stand.
There’s only one way to fight back: enroll in the Race to the Clouds. Winning the competition would garner global media attention and give Urban the coverage she needs to dismantle the enhancement programs. Unfortunately, it also happens to be the deadliest event of the year.
With less time to train than her rivals, Urban and her team must find a way to best the competition. But as enemies close in, riots erupt, and her homeland teeters on the brink of civil war, one thing is certain—she’s running out of time. Not just for herself, but for every Natural she represents.

I enjoyed Enhanced far more than I anticipated. Then waited an insane amount of time for Hybrid to be available for request through the library (I clearly have a love-hate relationship with the library request system lol. What would I do without it, but why can’t it cooperate with me a lil bit more??). Well, the final book is nearly out!! (and it better untwist some of those final twists from Hybrid…)

Maxine Justice: Public Offender — Daniel Schwabauer

Expected publication: November 4
The case she didn’t need. The client she didn’t want. The trial she couldn’t win.
Fresh off her single-handed defense against alien adversaries in a galactic courtroom, Maxine Justice discovers that saving the Earth is not enough to earn a hero’s welcome back home. Once again broke and now looking for revenge, her return to night court as a public defender takes an immediate detour when she’s tasked with defending a Therapod murder suspect.
The case drags her into the quirky theories of her new client, Father Gilbert Barthes, and the corrupt underbelly of corporate robotics. As her defense takes on global significance, Maxine lands squarely in the crosshairs of new enemies determined to conceal their plans for acquiring the planet. Worse, her probably guilty client may be the only one who can expose what’s really happening.
Stripped of all credibility and most of her friends, can Maxine find some way to save humanity when the world is bent on self-destruction? Or will Earth finally succumb to the most unlikely deception?

So I just saw this??? and my mind is blown now???
I bought Maxine Justice: Galactic Attorney a few months ago off of Thriftbooks since I’ve always been curious about it, but our library didn’t have it (story of my life). Ironically, the copy I ended up with was an ex-library book. Go figure. Anyway, I thought it was a stand-alone. It was published in 2022, it’s been a few years, and it ends with the world saved. No indication of further books.
Imagine my surprise when I clicked my way to the “Coming Soon” page of Enclave Publishing and discovered Maxine Justice: Public Offender. Absolutely astounded.
It’s not as if Maxine Justice was my absolute favorite book ever (there was a lot of science…and I can only take aliens in small doses…), but I’m intrigued to see where Daniel takes the story next.

Side note on Operation Grendel: it will absolutely blow your mind. I’ve read it about three times now and I’m still not sure I completely understand the implications of the plot. When I finished reading it for the first time, I had to go find Lucas so he could explain what I had just read. It’s insane.

What they don’t see will hurt them.
The day to open the centuries-old Dome gates and reintegrate genetically engineered people back into normal society has arrived. There’s one caveat—their powers must remain suppressed.
Amidst this Project Integration Initiative, hacker Ryleigh Stevens has her whole life planned out. The plan? Prevent a second Universal Tech War in two simple steps. First, help Project Integration Phase One succeed—but not for the reason she pretends. Next, infiltrate the rebellion and sabotage Phase Two—the part that would grant people unbridled access to their superhuman abilities.
Too bad the one person who can make her plan reality is her sworn enemy. He’s dangerous. He’s Powered. And he’s the reason her brother is dead. Faced with an impossible choice, Ryleigh must decide how to do what’s right for the good of all humanity, even if it means sacrificing everything she holds dear—again.
Not even death can tell them apart.
In the wild and lush kingdom of Twinsbane, everyone has a look-alike, and each twin is cursed to die when their double breathes their last. When an ancient plague arises, the kingdom’s only hope is to sever these deadly ties. Yet King Daccias refuses to relinquish the cure, a legendary potion called the Separator.
Waruu, an orphan determined to break these ties, discovers he’s the king’s doppelgänger. He’s certain that if he can switch places, he can save the kingdom. But if anyone learns his true identity, he’ll lose everything—including the people he’s desperately trying to protect.
King Daccias wants nothing more than for his subjects to cease threatening to behead him if he doesn’t hand over the Separator. Intent on catching those opposing him, he finds himself ensnared in his own trap. If he doesn’t break loose, the kingdom will rest in the hands of an insolent boy who knows nothing about the truth behind the events unfolding around him.
To save their kingdom, both Waruu and Daccias must face their greatest enemy—each other.

These two are books found on the “Coming Soon” page that I wasn’t necessarily looking forward to, but now I’m intrigued. The library will likely not have them (consequences of being little-known authors from a Christian publishing house 😢), at least for a while, but I’ll get my hands on them eventually!!
Coda
And that’s that, for the second time now!! Thanks for reading (again)!!
Have you read these authors?? Any other books you’re looking forward to that you didn’t get around to mentioning last time??
Always,
